We are a traditional Guest House, and no longer a Bed & Breakfast. We don't serve food here at the Inn, but we have a fridge in each room, as well as coffee and tea.

If you are curious about booking a room, please let us know.

We can answer any questions you might have about visiting our guest house.

Don't be shy!

The driveway up to the Inn can feel a little bit steep in the snowy winter months.

We work hard to make sure it's always plowed and sanded, but four wheel drive might be helpful if there is fresh snow.

If you can't make it all the way up the driveway, there is a plowed out area for parking at the bottom of the hill, and its less than a minute of walking to get to the Inn up the hill.
Your bedroom away from home in the beautiful Adirondack mountains

our lovely guest house nestled in the trees
You can enjoy the peace and quiet in the wooded area around The Doctor's Inn, but you'll still be close to the activities of the village of Saranac Lake. We are traditional Guest house, but not a Bed & Breakfast. We don't serve meals at the inn, but we do offer coffee and tea.

Each of our rooms has a small refrigerator, a kettle and coffee maker. Our guests have access to a microwave, cork screws, wine glasses, mugs, coffee and tea. We supply real dishes and cutlery as well.

If you don't bring your own meals, its a short trip into town where you can visit one of our many terrific local eateries.

In addition, guests have the use of the porch and grounds. For your convenience, we have wireless internet connection on the property.
The guest house in winter
We are open during the winter to take advantage of the glorious nearby skiing in the out-of-doors. Please know that we keep everything warm and cozy inside the inn!

Our Green Policy
The Doctor’s Inn has taken extra steps to significantly reduce our environmental impact and we practice the conservation that is a part of our Adirondack community of Saranac Lake. Because our rooms are part of an inhabited home, there is a low carbon footprint in offering them to you.

We use Eco-friendly household products, recycled toilet paper, and energy efficient appliances. We have installed an on-demand hot water heater and have insulated our old but very special home. We compost, recycle and hang out laundry to dry.
Stay with us for a good night’s sleep.
