The Doctor's Inn, designed by architect George Schrader, was built in 1927. The large Adirondack-style living room, with a fieldstone fireplace is surrounded by shelves of an eclectic  book collection.  The wrap-around porch allows guests to enjoy the restorative powers of the fresh mountain air.

The Doctor's Inn provides a relaxing atmosphere that you can use as home-base for your Adirondack adventures or just  kick back and enjoy doing nothing-in-particular.

The Doctor's Inn is off the main road letting you enjoy the peace and quiet and still close to the activities of the  village of Saranac Lake or the trails leading to outdoor adventures. 

Over the years, we have been a perfect place for  lodging wedding guests,  members of family reunions, or other family gatherings; more cozy than a motel  or hotel and not a traditional Bed & Breakfast (see About Us) but your occasional guest home.
